Most reviews are written by someone who never opened the box.
We read the label. We follow the checkout to the last screen and write down the real price. And when a product has a weak spot, it goes on the same page as the good parts — not in a footnote nobody scrolls to.
How we're paid: some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we earn a commission from the retailer — at no extra cost to you, and the price you pay does not change. It doesn't change what we write either: the drawbacks are published on the same page as the benefits.
Our method
Four things we do before writing a word
None of this is clever. It's just work that most review pages skip.
Read the actual label
Ingredients, quantities, materials, the age range, the warnings. If a number isn't printed on the product, we don't invent one.
Follow the checkout
Not the price on the banner — the price on the final payment screen, including what a multi-pack really costs per unit.
Check what it can legally claim
Supplements and devices are allowed to say specific things and not others. We write what's permitted, and we name what isn't.
Publish the weak spots
Every product has them. A review without a single drawback isn't a review — it's an ad with paragraphs.

We write about a product only after we've been able to read its label and reach its checkout. If we can't verify something, we leave it out rather than guess.

A brand-new site with forty reviews already online didn't write them. Ours go up one at a time, as each product clears the checks on this page.
